Nestled within the circular bay, is sheltered from the open sea, making it a natural haven that, according to legend, pirates once used as their anchorage. The well-protected beach typically boasts calm waters, though the surrounding beaches can be quite choppy.
To reach Vathi by car driving for approximately 15km on the rugged gravel road, following signs to Vathi.. Alternatively, if you prefer not to drive or don’t have access to a car, consider taking an excursion by boat.
The road can be narrow and steep in some parts, so caution is advised when driving.
