Our impressions

Agia Pelagia beach is mostly a way to relax and enjoy the quiet vibes and wonderful scenario where you can enjoy seaside dining and fantastic beaches.

It has developed its charm by becoming one of the quietest seaside villages in Crete and is considered to be one of the best areas to experience truly relaxing holidays, quite close to the city of Heraklion.

The real beach is relatively small (so it is best to go down in the morning to secure an umbrella), and embraced by a rocky landscape, which gives it an immaculate appearance. It has a nice beach bar with sun loungers to comfortably bask in the sun.

I highly recommend diving and snorkeling in Agia Pelagia, by virtue of its crystal clear waters. You can spend many hours observing the seabed, to discover the immaculate marine world of Crete.

Well protected from north winds, today Agia Pelagia is a resort with all kind of services and amenities, and sunbeds have occupied almost the entire width of the beach.
