Crete boasts two of the world’s top-rated beaches!
Tripadvisor has utilized reviews related to beach experiences to identify travelers’ preferred beaches of the year, providing valuable guidance for those seeking to plan their own remarkable beach vacation this year. Baia do Sancho in Brazil has claimed the title of the “best beach in the world,” ascending six positions from last year. Eagle Beach in Aruba and Cable Beach in Australia occupy the second and third spots, respectively.
Falasarna is ranked 21st and Balos is ranked 25th in the list.
Tripadvisor describes Falasarna as “Amazing!” and recommends taking a brief stroll along the beach to witness the stunning blue waters and sand dunes.
On the other hand, Tripadvisor depicts the Lagoon of Balos as “Like another planet,” with a lagoon on one side and a beach on the other.
Greece has secured four spots in the European list of 25 best beaches, with Falasarna at 6th, Balos at 8th, Sarakiniko beach in Milos at 17th, and Kalamaki beach in Zante at 18th.
