Our impressions

Afrata Beach is a beautiful pebbly beach located on the northwest coast of the Greek island of Crete. The beach is situated in the small village of Afrata, which is about 25 kilometers from the city of Chania.

Afrata Beach is relatively secluded and is surrounded by rugged cliffs and hills, which makes it a great spot for those looking to escape the crowds and enjoy some peaceful time by the sea. The beach itself is small but offers crystal-clear waters, making it a great spot for swimming and snorkeling.

There are a few amenities available at Afrata Beach, including a small taverna where you can enjoy traditional Greek cuisine and refreshments. There are also a few sun loungers and umbrellas available for rent.

Overall, Afrata Beach is a great spot for those looking for a peaceful and secluded beach experience on the beautiful island of Crete!
