Our impressions
Plakias is a well-equipped and popular seaside village, with a quiet atmosphere and wide range of hotels of all categories.
The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a long beach with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble. It is partially crowded during the high season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping. A part of the beach is naturists friendly.
This beach has loungers and umbrellas, restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets and lifeguard.
In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities , especially windsurfing or kiteboarding due to exposition to strong winds that affects often this area.
